The Fenbow Scholarship is awarded each year to a swimmer who displays the following in their swimming and can demonstrate the following attributes.

• Commitment to training sessions each week.
• Commitment to participating and attending Summer/ Winter Club Night.
• Commitment to all Targeted swim meets.
• Enthusiastic and encouraging of all fellow team members. 
• Supporting all Club activities and Fundraisers.
• Showing development and improvement in their swimming results over the last 12 months. 
  

The Fenbow scholarship was introduced in 2017 in honour of BCSC life members Gordan and his late wife Val Fenbow in recognition of their long term commitment and support to the Blacktown City Swimming Club over the last 30 years. Val and Gordan were strong believers in development of up and coming swimmers in learning correct technique and understanding the rules of swimming.
